Every day, families in our community face the difficult decision of choosing between essentials like food, rent, and diapers. The Nest in Lexington, Kentucky, is here to provide critical support, but we can’t do it alone.

Why Diapers Matter
1 in 3 families in the U.S. struggles to afford enough diapers to keep their babies clean and dry.
Babies without clean diapers are more likely to experience rashes, infections, and other health issues.
Government assistance programs like SNAP and WIC don’t cover diapers, leaving many families without options.

Every dollar you donate goes directly to purchasing diapers for families in need right here in Lexington. By participating in the Dollars for Diapers Diaper Drive, you’re providing more than just diapers; you’re giving peace of mind, health, and dignity to local families.

Lexington's most impactful fundraising event of the year. This gala is a night of luxury to support close to 10,000 families, children, and survivors who walk through our doors each year.

Pickleball for a Purpose
More than a tournament, Pickleball for a Purpose is an opportunity to support The Nest, a nonprofit providing crucial services for children and families in crisis throughout Central Kentucky. Come compete, cheer, or simply learn more about how The Nest makes a difference every day!

Grab your paddle and join us for Pickleball for a Purpose - a weekend of friendly competition, community connection, and support for The Nest! This exciting two-day tournament invites Central Kentucky pickleball players to rally together for a good cause while showcasing their skills on the court.
Whether you're just getting started or you're a seasoned pro, there's a spot for you! The tournament kicks off Saturday with Men’s and Women’s Doubles, followed by Mixed Doubles on Sunday. Events are organized by skill level to keep play fun and fair for all. Here’s how it breaks down:
Men’s and Women’s Doubles (Saturday)
Intermediate (3.0)
High Intermediate (3.5)
Advanced (4.0)
Mixed Doubles (Sunday)
Beginner (2.5 and below)
Intermediate (3.0)
High Intermediate (3.5)
Advanced (4.0)
Elite (4.5 and higher)
Each division begins with round-robin play, with the top four teams advancing to a finals bracket to determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
